Sizes

Both the Natural Training Platform and Natural Half come in five different sizes: X-Small (66MM wide or smaller), Small (66.5MM to 71.5MM), Medium (72MM to 76MM), Large (76.5MM to 81.5MM), and X-Large (82MM to 87MM). The Medium, between 72MM to 76MM width, is far and away the most common, then the Small, with infrequent Larges and rare X-Large or X-Small sizes.

Measuring

To figure out your size, simply use any measuring device and, with fingers together, measure from the outside of the pad of the index finger to the outside of the pad of the pinky as shown to the side. If uncertain, take the larger size to avoid possibility variability in training due to nesting or skin quality. For reference, my hand fits Medium the best but I can comfortably use a Large and could make use of a Small as needed.

Form Factor?

Ring V. Index Lengths

Looking at your hand*, fingers together and palms facing you, there are five options for determining the relative lengths of the ring and index fingers: are the ring and index about even, is the ring longer than the index, is the index longer than the ring, is the ring much longer than the index, or is the index much longer than the ring?

The difference between even, longer, and much longer may be observed in the images to the side, but this is a visual inspection which most climbers, being finger obsessed, are aware of.

Pinky Lengths

Still looking at your hand, there are two options for determining the relative lengths of the pinky to other fingers: is the pinky at/above the DIP joint of the shorter finger, or is the pinky below the DIP joint of the shorter finger.

As above, this is a visual inspection which most climbers are aware of having a short pinky. However, for climbers with much longer ring or index fingers, pinky length is relative to the shorter finger.

The four images shown in order top left to bottom right are: ring and index even with pinky at/above, ring and index even with pinky below, ring is longer than index with pinky below, ring is much longer than index with pinky at/above.

Uncertain?

If still uncertain which device, which size, and which form factor to select, reach out via the Contact page or over Instagram.

However, I will say I most often use the Natural Training Platform, and my hand best fits the 72MM - 76MM, ring is longer than index, and pinky at/above DIP joint of shorter finger. I could make use of most versions of this device, the more similar the better.

Many designers sell a single configuration. One diameter for all hands. One height, one diameter, one radius, and one depth for all fingers. The premise of a natural/unlevel/ergonomic edge is fingers are not all the same. The options are not to overwhelm but to evolve this premise.
